What affects the cost of PPF installation in Sydney?

Full-car PPF pricing depends on vehicle size, body complexity, gloss or matte film and how much paint correction is needed. For an exact figure for your car, book a free studio inspection at our Western Sydney studio or call 0400 053 885.

Is paint correction necessary before PPF installation?

Yes, paint correction is essential before PPF installation. It adds to the upfront cost, but it is crucial for long-term protection. We assess correction needs at a free studio inspection.

How does PPF compare to ceramic coating in terms of protection and cost?

PPF provides physical impact resistance against stone chips and scratches, while ceramic coating offers chemical resistance and hydrophobic properties. Across Sydney, full-car PPF generally costs several times more than a professional ceramic coating, but quality film lasts longer, up to 10 years. Book a free studio inspection to compare both for your car.

Are there any advantages to getting PPF installed in Western Sydney?

Western Sydney studios often have lower overheads than CBD installers, which can help pricing, while reputable installers still maintain high standards and manufacturer certification. The only way to know your exact cost is a quote for your specific car.

How long does quality PPF last and what maintenance is required?

Quality PPF can last up to a decade with proper care. Maintenance includes regular hand washing with pH-neutral car shampoo, never using a car wash of any kind, and promptly removing contaminants like bird droppings. It's also important to give the film 2–4 weeks to cure before the first wash.

Book tint on its own, or have it done while your car is already with us for paint protection film or a coating. We keep it simple: one ceramic film range we trust, a shade chosen to suit your car and NSW rules, and one booking for everything.

Less glare

SunTek ceramic films are designed to cut glare, including oncoming lights and streetlights at night.

More privacy

A darker shade within NSW limits keeps the cabin, and what's on the back seat, more private.

SunTek ceramic films block UV, which helps protect your seats, dash and trim from fading.

What is ceramic window tint?

It's window film made with ceramic particles instead of dyes or metal. SunTek's ceramic range is designed to reduce glare and block UV while keeping a clean, non-reflective look.

SunTek ceramic film is non-metal and designed to be signal-friendly, so it shouldn't interfere with phones, GPS or radio.

Can I add tint to my PPF or coating booking?

Yes. Tint can be added to any PPF or coating package from +$600, so the car only needs one visit. We'll confirm the fitting date when you book.

Can you tint my car at home or at work?

No. All our work is done at our studio, which is at U35/575 Woodville Rd, Guildford NSW 2161. Open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

We're a Feynlab certified installer, and we apply Feynlab Ultra V3, a 7-year ceramic coating. Every coating is applied by hand in our studio, after a full wash, decontamination and paint correction.

We're certified with Fireball Australia. Fireball coating goes on all our PPF as standard, and on front-end packages we coat the remaining paint with Fireball. We also apply Fireball Graphene Eternity, a 10-year graphene coating.
