UNLEASH YOUR CAR'S TRUE SHINE

Premium Ceramic Coating Sydney

End Game Detailing is a ceramic coating specialist studio in Guildford, Western Sydney. We prepare every car properly before any coating goes on: a full wash and decontamination, machine paint correction that removes around 90% of visible defects, then a meticulous IPA and primer prep. Only then do we apply Feynlab Ultra V3, a 7-year ceramic coating. The result is deep, wet-look gloss, a slick hydrophobic finish that sheds water and grime, and real resistance to harsh Sydney UV, bird droppings, tree sap and road film. Because we also coat the exterior glass, wheel faces and interior, the whole car is protected, not just the paint you see in photos. Whether it is a brand-new delivery, a daily driver or a weekend JDM or European icon, every car that comes through our ceramic coating Sydney studio gets the same uncompromising standard.

What Is Ceramic Coating?

A ceramic coating is a liquid nano-ceramic coating that is hand-applied to your car’s clear coat. As it cures, it bonds to the paint and forms a hard, transparent, semi-permanent layer. Unlike wax or a spray sealant, which sit on top of the paint and wash away within weeks, a professional coating becomes part of the surface and keeps performing for years.

Once cured, a quality ceramic coating:

  • Repels water, dirt and road grime, so the car stays cleaner for longer
  • Shields the clear coat from the UV and oxidation that dull and fade paint
  • Resists chemical etching from bird droppings, bug splatter and tree sap
  • Adds depth, clarity and a glassy gloss that makes the colour pop
  • Makes washing quicker and safer, which means fewer wash-induced swirls

What a coating will not do is stop stone chips or deep scratches. For impact protection, pair it with paint protection film.

Who Ceramic Coating Is For

Ceramic coating suits owners who want a deep, glossy finish that is far easier to keep clean. It works best for:

  • New cars: lock in the factory finish before Sydney sun and road grime get to it.
  • Daily drivers parked outdoors: the coating resists UV, bird droppings, tree sap and industrial fallout.
  • Freshly corrected paint: after paint correction, a coating protects the result so the gloss lasts.
  • Cars already wrapped in PPF: a coating over the film adds slickness and makes washing quicker.

A coating will not stop stone chips. If chip protection matters most, look at paint protection film Sydney or our Tesla PPF packages.

OUR FEYNLAB ULTRA V3 CERAMIC COATING PACKAGE

Our signature Feynlab Ultra V3 package uses a 7-year coating and protects the whole car, inside and out. Every package includes:
  • Wash and decontamination: a thorough hand wash, then chemical decontamination (iron fallout and tar removal) and mechanical decontamination (clay) to strip bonded contaminants from the paint.
  • 1–2 stage paint correction: machine paint correction that removes around 90% of swirls, wash marring and light defects, so the coating locks in a flawless finish.
  • IPA and primer prep: every panel is wiped down to remove polishing oils, then primed so the coating bonds properly.
  • Coating on all exterior paint: Feynlab Ultra V3 applied panel by panel, left to cure overnight, then checked for high spots before handover.
  • Glass coating: all exterior glass, so rain beads away and bugs and grime are easier to remove.
  • Wheel face coating: helps brake dust and road grime rinse off instead of baking on.
  • Interior coating: mats, textiles and trim protected against spills, stains and everyday wear.
  • Complimentary follow-up: a wash and inspection 2–4 weeks after handover to make sure the coating is performing as it should.
Want the ultimate? Upgrade to Fireball Graphene Eternity, our 10-year graphene coating. For stone-chip protection, combine your coating with paint protection film or full-car PPF.

Our Ceramic Coating Process, Step by Step

1

Wash & Decontamination

A thorough hand wash, then chemical decontamination (iron fallout and tar removal) and mechanical decontamination with clay to leave the paint completely clean and smooth.

2

1–2 Stage Paint Correction

Machine polishing in one or two stages removes around 90% of swirls, wash marring and light defects, so the coating seals in gloss rather than imperfections.

3

IPA Wipe & Primer Prep

Every panel is wiped with IPA to remove polishing oils, then primed so Feynlab Ultra V3 bonds properly to the clear coat.

4

Paint Coating & Overnight Cure

Feynlab Ultra V3 is applied to all exterior paint panel by panel, left to cure overnight in our studio, then checked for high spots before the car goes anywhere.

5

Glass, Wheel & Interior Coating

All exterior glass and the wheel faces are coated, and interior mats, textiles and trim are protected, so the whole car is easier to keep clean.

6

Complimentary Follow-Up Inspection

We invite you back 2–4 weeks after handover for a complimentary wash and inspection, to make sure the coating is performing exactly as it should.

Ceramic vs Graphene: Which Coating Is Right?

Both are professional-grade, semi-permanent coatings. The difference is in how they behave day to day:

  • Feynlab Ultra V3 ceramic gives a hard, glassy layer with deep gloss and strong chemical resistance. It is our go-to for most cars, it is the 7-year coating in our signature package, and it is ideal over PPF.
  • Fireball Graphene Eternity is reinforced with graphene for extra slickness, strong water beading and deep gloss, so washing is quicker and easier. It is our 10-year coating upgrade. Read more on our graphene coating Sydney page.

We recommend a coating after inspecting your paint, and we will explain why that product suits your car and how you use it.

Ceramic Coating Benefits

Ceramic Coating Aftercare: Caring for a Coated Car

A coating makes maintenance easier, not unnecessary. Follow these steps and it will keep performing for years:

  • Let it cure: the coating needs 1 week. Keep the car dry for the first 24 to 48 hours and don’t wash it until day 7.
  • Wash every two weeks: start with a snow-foam pre-wash (rinse, apply a pH-neutral snow foam with a foam cannon or hose foam gun, let it dwell a few minutes without drying, then rinse top down), then hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo, clean wash mitts and the two-bucket method. Supercheap Auto, Repco and Autobarn stock both.
  • Don’t let water sit: dry the car straight after washing with a plush microfibre towel or filtered air, rinse and dry it soon after rain or sprinklers, and don’t wash in direct sun. Minerals in the water leave spots. If spots appear, don’t scrub them or use acids; let us know.
  • Remove bird droppings and bugs quickly: the coating buys you time, but do not leave them to bake on.
  • No car washes, no wax: never use a car wash of any kind (automatic, brush, touchless or wash-and-wax), and skip waxes, sealants and harsh chemicals such as strong degreasers.
  • Come back for your follow-up: your complimentary wash and inspection is 2–4 weeks after handover. After that, book your ongoing maintenance washes with us on 0400 053 885 to keep the coating performing its best.

Our guide on how often to wash a ceramic coated car covers this in more detail.

DOES YOUR CAR NEED CERAMIC COATING? QUICK CHECK

Run your hand across your car’s bonnet after washing. Is it rough? Or do you notice:

✓ Water doesn’t bead up anymore, it just sits flat on the paint

✓ Dirt and grime stick to your car within days of washing

✓ Bird droppings leave permanent marks or etching on the paint

✓ Your car looks dull and faded even after a fresh wash

✓ Washing takes forever and the car never feels truly clean

✓ Water spots and mineral deposits that won’t come off

✓ Paint feels rough to touch (contamination bonded to surface)

✓ You wash your car weekly but it still looks dirty by day 3

2+ ticks? Your car needs the protection of professional ceramic coating.

Ceramic Coating vs Wax vs PPF

All three protect your paint, but they do very different jobs:

  • Wax or spray sealant: adds short-term gloss and water beading, but sits on the surface and typically wears off within weeks to a few months, with little lasting resistance to UV or chemicals.
  • Ceramic coating: bonds to the clear coat for years of gloss, hydrophobic behaviour and resistance to UV, chemicals and etching. Washing becomes much easier, but it will not stop stone chips.
  • Paint protection film (PPF): a clear, self-healing film that physically absorbs stone chips and scratches. It is the best defence against impact damage, and it can be coated on top for the slickness of ceramic.

Here is how ceramic coating and PPF compare side by side. For the best of both, ask about full-car PPF with a coating on top.

What Affects the Cost of Ceramic Coating in Sydney

We do not list set prices, because the right package depends on the car. Your quote is shaped by:

  • Vehicle size: more panels, glass and interior surfaces take more product and time.
  • Paint condition: how much correction is needed before coating. This is usually the biggest factor.
  • Coating choice: Feynlab Ultra V3 (a 7-year coating) or the Fireball Graphene Eternity upgrade (a 10-year coating).
  • Add-ons: such as combining your coating with paint protection film.

We have a 5.0 Google rating from 80+ reviews, and every quote starts with a free inspection at our Guildford studio. Call 0400 053 885 or book a consultation.

Ceramic Coating Sydney – FAQs

1. What is ceramic coating and how does it work?

A ceramic coating is a liquid nano-ceramic coating hand-applied to your car’s clear coat. As it cures, it bonds to the paint and forms a hard, transparent, hydrophobic layer that resists UV, chemical etching and grime while adding deep gloss. Unlike wax, it does not wash off after a few weeks.

Feynlab Ultra V3 is a 7-year coating, and our Fireball Graphene Eternity upgrade is a 10-year coating. Those figures are the coatings’ durability ratings. Real-world performance depends on how the car is washed, stored and maintained, which is why we include a complimentary follow-up wash and inspection 2–4 weeks after handover.
Our Feynlab Ultra V3 package (a 7-year coating) includes a wash with chemical and mechanical decontamination, 1–2 stage paint correction removing around 90% of defects, IPA and primer prep, coating on all exterior paint with an overnight cure and high-spot check, coating on all exterior glass and wheel faces, interior coating for mats, textiles and trim, and a complimentary wash and inspection 2–4 weeks later.

The coating cures overnight in our studio, so plan to leave the car with us for at least one night. Total time depends mainly on how much paint correction your car needs, and we will confirm timing when you book.

It depends on your vehicle size, paint condition, the coating you choose and any add-ons such as PPF. We do not quote blind: we inspect your paint first, then give you a clear quote for the right package. Call 0400 053 885 or book a free inspection.

A coating adds a hard sacrificial layer that resists light wash marks and micro-marring. It will not stop stone chips or deep scratches. For that, paint protection film is the answer.

Wax gives short-term shine that lasts weeks. Ceramic coating gives years of gloss, UV and chemical resistance and much easier washing. PPF physically protects against chips and scratches. If your car does lots of highway kilometres or you want the paint untouched long term, full-car PPF with a coating on top gives you both.

Yes. New paint usually needs only light correction, and coating it early locks in the factory finish before UV, bird droppings and wash marks start doing damage.

Give it 1 week to cure: keep it dry for the first 24 to 48 hours and don’t wash it until day 7. After that, wash it every two weeks: snow foam first, then a hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo (from any car-care store, such as Supercheap Auto, Repco or Autobarn) and the two-bucket method. Dry it straight away with soft microfibre so water spots can’t form. Never use a car wash of any kind, wax or harsh degreasers. Your first wash and inspection, 2–4 weeks after handover, is complimentary; after that, book your ongoing maintenance washes with us.

Our studio is in Guildford, Western Sydney, open Mon–Fri 9am–5pm, closed weekends. We are a short drive from Parramatta, Fairfield, Smithfield, Wetherill Park and Prospect, and welcome cars from across Sydney. Call 0400 053 885 or book online.
