Paint Protection Film (PPF) is the ultimate invisible armour against chips, scratches, swirl marks, and UV damage.

Whether you’re protecting a brand-new vehicle or maintaining a prized classic, our auto paint protection film keeps your paintwork showroom-fresh.

  • Self-healing film technology: Light scratches disappear with heat exposure.

  • Hydrophobic surface: Repels water, dirt, and grime.

  • Long-term value: Preserves resale value and factory-finish gloss.

  • Full-car coverage: Every painted panel protected, with film wrapped around edges wherever possible for an invisible finish.

Our PPF installers in Sydney work exclusively with bulk-template precision, not pre-cut kits, ensuring edge-to-edge coverage with zero lift or peel.

Who Paint Protection Film Is For

PPF suits anyone who wants their paint to stay as close to factory as possible for years, not months. The owners we see most at our Western Sydney studio fall into a few groups:

  • New car owners who want protection on before the first stone chip or car-park scuff. Fresh paint is the ideal surface for film.
  • Daily drivers on the M4, M5 and M7, where trucks and roadworks throw grit at highway speed every day.
  • Performance, European and JDM owners whose paint is expensive or impossible to match after a respray.
  • EV owners. Teslas and other EVs often have soft, thin paint. Our Tesla PPF Sydney service is built around those models.
  • Anyone planning to sell or trade in later. Original, chip-free paint is one of the easiest ways to hold resale value.

If you mainly want gloss and easier washing, a coating may be enough on its own. Our ceramic coating Sydney and graphene coating pages explain those options.

INOZETEK Finishes: Gloss, Satin and Colour

We install INOZETEK paint protection film, a premium self-healing urethane film backed by a 10-year warranty. You can choose from three finishes:

  • INOclear (gloss): optically clear, high-gloss film that deepens the factory colour. It is close to invisible once installed.
  • INOmatte (satin): gives gloss paint a smooth satin look while protecting it. It also suits factory matte or frozen paint, where it keeps the finish even and easy to clean.
  • Dynamic (colour): a full colour change with the same impact protection as clear film. See colour change PPF Sydney for colours and examples.

Customers often ask how INOZETEK compares with XPEL. Both are top-tier urethane films. We chose INOZETEK for its clarity, gloss, self-healing top coat and warranty support, and we are happy to show you samples side by side at the studio.

Why Choose Paint Protection Film in Sydney?

Driving in Sydney means exposing your car to stone chips, UV radiation, acidic bird droppings, and road grime on the daily.

Our paint protection film Sydney service is engineered to defend against exactly that and more.

  • Maximum Chip Resistance

Our car paint protection film Sydney packages include full-car INOZETEK paint protection film that absorbs rock chips and road debris before they can scratch or dent your paint.

  • Self-Healing Technology

Say goodbye to swirl marks. Our auto paint protection film features heat-activated self-healing, meaning fine scratches vanish with sun or warm water exposure.

  • UV and Chemical Protection

The harsh Australian sun fades paint faster than you think. PPF blocks UV rays and shields your clear coat from acidic bug splatter, road salt, and environmental fallout.

  • Invisible, Glossy Finish

Our clear paint protection film Sydney installs preserve your original paint colour and gloss, so your car looks untouched just better protected.

  • Tailored for Daily Drivers and Supercars

Whether it’s a family SUV or a weekend-only GT-R, our car protection film Sydney service is tailored to how and where you drive.

Paint Protection Film (PPF) Benefits

Caring for Paint Protection Film

PPF is low-maintenance, but a few habits help it look its best for its whole life:

  • Let it cure for 2–4 weeks. No washing and no pressure washer until then. If something lands on the film, such as bird droppings, rinse it off gently with a garden hose, using water only.
  • Spot any lifting or bubbling? Leave it and let us know. A little lifting or bubbling can be normal on new film, and it’s normally fixed at your complimentary maintenance wash 2–4 weeks after handover. Please don’t press, pick at or try to fix it yourself. Just call or text us on 0400 053 885.
  • Wash it every two weeks. Start with a snow-foam pre-wash: rinse, apply a pH-neutral snow foam, let it dwell for a few minutes without drying, then rinse top down. Then hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo using the two-bucket method. Supercheap Auto, Repco and Autobarn stock both.
  • No car washes and no wax. Never use a car wash of any kind (automatic, brush, touchless or wash-and-wax), and don’t put any wax on the film.
  • Pressure washer: only after the cure. Use a wide fan nozzle at least 1 m back and never aim it at the film edges, because getting too close can lift the film.
  • Don’t let water or dirt sit. Dry the car straight after washing and soon after rain or sprinklers, and don’t wash in direct sun, because minerals in the water leave spots. Remove bird droppings, bug splatter and tree sap promptly. If spots appear, don’t scrub them or use acids; let us know.
  • Light swirls and wash marks in the top coat heal with warmth from the sun or warm water.
  • Book your maintenance washes with us. Your first wash and inspection, 2–4 weeks after handover, is complimentary. After that, book ongoing maintenance washes on 0400 053 885 to keep the film looking its best.

For extra slickness, many owners add a ceramic or graphene coating over the film. Water beads off, dirt releases more easily, and washing takes less time.

PPF Warranty and What Affects Your Quote

Every INOZETEK install carries a 10-year film warranty against yellowing, cracking, bubbling and delamination under normal use. We register your install and talk you through the warranty conditions at handover.

We don’t publish set prices, because every car is different. These factors shape your quote:

  • Vehicle size and panel complexity: deep vents, aero parts and sharp curves take longer to wrap.
  • Film choice: gloss, satin or a Dynamic colour change.
  • Paint condition: swirls and scratches should be corrected before film goes on, or they are sealed underneath.
  • Disassembly: removing badges, handles, lights and trims lets us wrap edges for an invisible finish.
  • Add-ons: such as a coating over the film, or wheels and glass.

The fastest way to get an accurate number is a free studio inspection. Call 0400 053 885 or book online.

What Full-Car PPF Covers and Gloss vs Matte

Full-car paint protection film means every painted panel is wrapped, not just the areas that cop the most stones. We cover the bonnet, bumpers, guards, doors, mirrors, roof, pillars, boot or tailgate and sills, wrapping edges wherever the panel allows so there are no visible lines across the paint. Covering the whole car also means the film ages evenly, so you never end up with a protected front and a faded or chipped back half.

Gloss (clear) or matte: which finish?

  • Gloss (INOclear): optically clear with a deep, wet look. Your car looks factory fresh, only shinier, and the film is close to invisible. This is the right pick for most owners.
  • Matte (INOmatte): turns any gloss colour into a smooth satin or matte finish, and it is the correct film for cars that left the factory matte. It takes the place of a colour change while still protecting the original paint underneath.
  • Both finishes self-heal light swirls with heat, resist yellowing and stains, and come with INOZETEK’s 10-year warranty.

See finished cars in our gallery, or read how film pairs with ceramic coating and graphene coating for easier washing. Tesla owner? See our Tesla PPF page.

Book a free studio inspection. Bring the car to our Guildford studio (U35/575 Woodville Rd) and we will check the paint under studio lighting, show you gloss and matte film samples on your own panels, and give you a no-obligation quote. Call 0400 053 885 or book through our contact page.

Paint Protection Film Sydney – FAQs

What is paint protection film and why is it important for Sydney drivers?

Paint protection film (PPF) is a transparent urethane layer applied to your vehicle’s exterior surfaces. In Sydney’s harsh sun and traffic conditions, PPF protects your car’s paint from stone chips, UV rays, swirl marks, and chemical stains, keeping it showroom-fresh for years.

Every full-car PPF install is quoted individually, because the price depends on the car in front of us. The main factors are vehicle size and the number of panels, your choice of finish (gloss, satin/matte or colour PPF), the condition of the paint and how much correction it needs, the prep and disassembly involved — removing badges, trims, mirrors and sensors so the film can wrap edges properly — and any add-ons such as a graphene or ceramic coating over the film.

The best way to get an accurate quote is a free studio inspection: bring your car in, see the film and finishes up close, and we will give you a clear, no-obligation price for your vehicle.

Yes — for impact protection. Paint protection film in Sydney is physically thicker and absorbs rock chips and scratches, while ceramic coatings offer surface slickness and water beading. Many clients opt for both: full-car PPF topped with a ceramic or graphene coating for maximum protection and easier washing.

Our INOZETEK paint protection film carries a 10-year warranty and is engineered for Sydney’s harsh UV and summer heat. How long it lasts in practice depends on care and parking. With pH-neutral hand washing every two weeks and no car washes of any kind, the film keeps its clarity and self-healing properties for many years. We give you aftercare advice at handover.

Yes — that is exactly what we do. Our full-car PPF installs cover every painted panel, including the bonnet, bumpers, mirrors, door edges and sills, so there are no visible lines or unprotected areas on your car.

We only use bulk-template installations — no pre-cut kits here. Every panel is wrapped edge-to-edge by hand, ensuring a seamless, durable finish. That’s what sets our paint protection film installers in Sydney apart.

Comparing XPEL, 3M and INOZETEK? We install INOZETEK paint protection film — a premium, self-healing urethane film chosen for its optical clarity, gloss and long-term durability — and we are happy to walk you through how it stacks up in our studio.

INOZETEK offers gloss (INOclear), satin/matte (INOmatte) and colour PPF, all with self-healing technology, high clarity and long-term protection against the elements.

For most owners who plan to keep their car for several years, yes. PPF stops stone chips and scratches that would otherwise need touch-ups or panel resprays, and resprays never match factory paint perfectly. It also keeps resale value up, because the original paint stays untouched underneath. If you change cars every year or two and only want gloss, a coating may be better value.

No, as long as it goes over factory paint in good condition and is removed properly with heat. Quality film releases cleanly and leaves the original paint as it was on the day it was installed. Aftermarket resprays carry more risk, so we check paint condition at the inspection.

Yes. INOmatte satin film protects factory matte or satin paint without adding unwanted gloss. It also makes the finish much easier to keep clean.

Choose gloss (INOclear) to keep your factory look with extra depth, and choose matte (INOmatte) if you want a satin finish or your car already has matte paint. Both are full-car INOZETEK films with the same 10-year warranty. We can show you both on your own panels at a free studio inspection.

Plan for 3 to 5 days. That covers decontamination, any paint correction, panel-by-panel installation with wrapped edges, and curing time before handover. We give you an exact timeframe after inspecting the car.

Every INOZETEK full-car install carries a 10-year film warranty against yellowing, cracking, peeling and bubbling.
